National Education Policy Seminar



  The National Education Policy was framed in 1968 and further in 1986 and

  then modified in 1992. Since then several changes have taken place that call for a revision of the Policy. The Government of India has taken an initiative to bring out a New Education Policy (NEP) to meet the changing dynamics of the population requirement with regard to quality education, innovation and research, aiming to make India a knowledge-hub with necessary skills and knowledge. In this regard,the Government of India is embarking on a time-bound consultative process,which will enable the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) to reach out to individuals nationally and globally, while also taking input from With a view to make NEP and NAMODI framework a collective effort from various stakeholders, MHRD, Govt. of India has entrusted IGN Tribal University, Amarkantak (M.P.) to organize an ‘International Seminar on New Education Policy and NAMODI Framework’. The proposed seminar is an attempt to provide an academic platform to the educationists including all stakeholders across the country to review the existing educational policies and to create an academic space for fruitful discussion on composite and inclusive policy to provide quality education in tune with the changing educational paradigm.With a view to frame an all-inclusive NEP in tune with the digital revolution for better utilization of Digital India Infrastructure for the implementation, to implement and bring the entire educational domain from across India to one common platform, the concept of NAMODI framework has been conceived. To revolutionize educational system in a digital format as a step forward to transform Indian Educational system into Digital Education system, NAMODI Framework has become imperative to make our education more accessible and Nano Architecture Mobile Oriented Digital Institute (NAMODI) framework provides an open access to common educational network across the country. NAMODI Framework utilizes web 2.0 cloud computing and Big Data Technology so that the size of architecture of this framework would be that of Nano size. This will enable the people to have accessibility to the study material in the form of Mobile Apps, Digital Tutors, e-books and thus transform educational institutes,schools, colleges, Universities into Common-Term- Digital Institutes. This will go a long way in translating ‘Right to Education into Right to Quality Education’ via free availability of resources as per syllabus. With its implementation, strong Indian population of about 125 Crore would stand benefitted giving rise to a New Educational Revolution in the country.
